PItted against a team from the home of Andruw Jones -- Williamstad, Curacao, the kids from Ewa Beach came from behind to tie the game, forcing extra innings . A homer by Ewa Beach in the 7th inning sealed the deal.
It's definitely games like these -- whether MLB or little league -- that keep me excited about baseball. Never mind that I was a resident of Ewa Beach unitl 1986.

Yes, Quizbowl readers, Honolulu's FOX Affiliate (When I lived there, it was the NBC Affiliate... ) is KHON -- Of course, the HON stands for Honolulu, but I thought you might get a kick out of that coincidence anyway.
